12:00 noon - 6:00pm

 

Marc arrived earlier with his wife Amy and daughter Rachel as Bill and I were there an hour early to set up and reserve at least 3 picnic tables. Marc and his family were greeted with ti-leaf leis created by classmate Elma (Villena) Bruno who unfortunately couldn't be there for the potluck get-together.

 

We were very fortunate that the day was a sunny day after all - cut short with rain clouds that were heading in from the Hamakua.  Classmates present at the event:  Ricky Batad, wife Grace & family from Hilo; Douglas and his son from Waikoloa, Agnes from Kamuela; From Kohala: Stephanie & fian`ce Bill; Paul Nahinu, Hansen Kapeliela & family; Krisann & her family.  Marc's mother and brothers & friends were also present enjoying the day.

 

We will be getting pictures posted from the event hopefully soon so check back again.  Good news from Marc in Oregon.....he's coming back in April, 2002 for his brother's wedding.

Thanks for more memories and all the fun. Everyone was just awesome and the food, wonderful. Mahalo to all of you who donated towards the get together, helped set up, clean up and for showing up for a fun afternoon.

Congratulations to the winners of the baked goods contest: 

Mrs. Grace Batad (Ricky) - Cream Puffs;  Stephanie (Naihe) Cabaniss - Yogurt Pie,   Krisann (Santiago) Dean - Chocolate cream cheese pie...low fat! Sharon (Antonio) Angelo - Yummy Brownies.   All the desserts were winners. Sorry Bryan, your pie was delicious but you did not make it!... maybe next time, we'll have a category for your dessert...thanks for your efforts.

By the way, we really have some fantastic singers and we really enjoyed listening to each and every one of you and we look forward to the next Karaoke. Paul, you are one great dancer.. your moves are out of this world!

The Class Reunion video is with Krisann - keep on sharing it with everyone. Please to return to me when you are done with it. As a reminder, please remember to send photo negatives to me to create a slide show for our 25th or 30th reunion. Once again, thanks to all of you that made it possible...
